INURIES BIG FACTOR in MADDEN 11 (& r killin me!)

Injuries are certainly ramped up this year - AND I AM NOT ACTUALLY COMPLAINING ABOUT OUT (other than the fact that i am leaDING MY FRANCHISE IN THAT CATEGORY!)..

all joking aside - INJURIES ARE A BIG PART OF FOOTBALL - and as a deddicated SIM player - I am not belly aching about it - AS LONG AS DOWN THE ROAD MY KEY RIVALS HAVE A CRAZY INJURY SEASON LIKE MINE LOL!... afterall it really is part of the game...

this is my current Injury List:

MLB Beason 97 overall - OUT FOR SEASON (happened in 1st half of 1st game of season)

OLB KRUGER (i play him at DE where he is 79 overall) - OUT FOR THE SEASON

LE CAMPBELL 86 overall - out for 3 weeks

LOLB FOLLETT 66 overall - out for 11 weeks

ROLB MATHEWS 86 overall - out for 2 weeks

WR DECKER 69 overall (and sadly my starter LOL!) out for 1 week


*** this is the 1st time in my extensive ONLINR FRANCHISE experience that i can legitmately say - I NEED AN INJURY RESERVE OPTION!

My defensive IS FUBAR - held togther with pins and needles - what a mess! - This is even with me given up my KICK RETURN specialist so i could sign a LB (that nobody else wanted) to play a HUGE ROLE in my starting defense!

i am forced to start a SS at OLB for the next 2 weeks (assuming i dont get furthur injuries - and chances are I WILL!)... at least if there was injured reserve - i could designate Beason, Kruger and maybe Follett and pick up a player to fill in at their position - but i cant so i have to play a SS at OLB!

This will be an interesting couple of weeks!

The weird part is that between my Online and Offline Franchises it seems that atleast 60% of my injuries are Broken Collarbone injuries.

We definatly need an IR option for Online, it sucks that you gotta keep guys that are out for the year on your 53 man roster. Would be nice to get a practice squad as well.

every open question session ea sports offers chance i try to ask ian cummings about implementing custom sliders to online franchises. it would be really nice if we could tune the game so players play to their full potential ratings and injuries aren't crippling an entire season. it seems awful this year, even last year i seemed to lose brandon jacobs every season along with half my linebackers.

they never answer or respond to me. usually the main concerns addressed are sock stripes and chin strap colors. which im sure is important to some people, but it'd be nice to see other issues addressed once in awhile. online franchise is basically the only reason i still play madden, offline and lobbies are pretty much a joke anymore.

THE PROBLEM IS THAT THIS GAME IS SERVER BASED - so any customization and personalization WOULD REQUIRE SPECIFIC SERVER SPACE FOR EACH INDIVIDUAL ONLINE FRANCHISE... so they try to standardize as much as they can - limiting server requirements... but we can hope that SERVER space becomes more available for individual online franchise customiation - AFTERALL MEMOREY FOR MY 386 COMPUTER IN 1992 WAS $400-$500 FOR LOUSY 10-15 MEGS! and when u consider inflation - that would be closer to $620-750 now... so maybe the price of server space will eventuaLLY COME DOWN - MAKING OUR COMPLAINTS EASILY FIXED!

omg i had a 386 too! played the shit outta lemmings and indy500. but yeah, see, thats all that would have been needed. what that take, 10 seconds to respond? guess i'm not a fan of the way ea handles their business, there is 0 community or fan interaction with dev's. on the backbreaker forums, the head dev is always on there answering questions and taking suggestions to improve the franchise. if we got that kinda love outta ea, this game would be so much better. not askin for perfect, just better.

so you think an hltv is out of the question as well? is that something they could apply to all servers and just disable it for all modes other than an option for online franchises?

I THINK ALL THESE INJURIES I SEE AROUND THE LEAGUE ARE DO TO LACK OF WHEATIES. AND THAT ALL YOUR TEAMS WITH ALL THESE INJURIES MAYBE ARE JUST TOO SOFT LIKE CHARMIN TOILET PAPER!

madden will probably have a $2 injury speed recovery thing to buy for franchises per player next year .. or $5 ..b/c they suck

i understand injuries are a part of sim football but it doesnt make sense to have a majority of the injuries be over +10 weeks or season ending. idk about you guys but i have had an A potential rookie lost for over 10 weeks in 3 franchises now. along with many other injuries. i think it's a bit out of hand.

yeah injurys are crazy this year i lost Calvin Johnson for the year in week 3 also LBs get hurt it seem more than any other position 80% of the time is broken collarbones lol and then u have some positions that barely ever get hurt like qb than god

I think i have the best one lol. I drafted merriweather (excuse the spelling lol) 2nd round in deathwish league and my week 1 opp schloer never showed for our game. Therefore it was simmed by the commish and guess what happened?? Hes out for the season in week 1!!!! Unbelievable.

dont blame that game being simmed all on me, u sent me ur available times and they didnt work for me considering i worked 5-12 both nights we had the chance to play. ur times of 4-6 or 8-11 didnt work.
